Vietnamese Bride Custom

Three significant rites take place at a Vietnamese bridal on the same day. Le dam charity, the princess’s commitment festival, is the groom’s family’s first formal request for her marriage. The two people trade donations and perform rites to represent their coalition.

The following ceremony will be a tea and candle ceremony ( le te ). The newlyweds honor their ancestors by drinking teas and asking for blessings for their futures together during this. For the first time, they will also have the opportunity to meet extended family members.

A march moves to the couple’s home for a reception after the tea and light service. The wedding may get a surprise container stuffed with jewelry from her mother-in-law at this formal introduction to her new home. In front of their ancient shrines, the bride and groom’s parents will shed fragrant sticks and offer prayers to their ancestors for the couple’s good health, happiness, and fortune.

The bride and groom don traditional Vietnamese attire, known as ao dai, which are available in a range of hues and styles. Their brides and guys will also be wearing ao dai gowns or a simpler edition vietnamese girls date of the same gown, depending on the couple’s desire.
